To replace the fuel pump or is there a port under the carpet?

You will have to drop the gas tank to extract and replace the fuel pump.

We have a '91 and '96 Safari that's almost the same thing. There's no access port. Gotta drop that tank!

DRop the gas tank out the bottom. Do yourself a favor, take the driveshaft out first, makes it much easier. Set the park brake now.

you have to lower your gas tank in order to get to the fuel pump.
