y is 4pt problems
x+y=40
2x+4y=100
so solve by elimination. (multiply the top by -2)
-2x-2y=-80
2x+4y=100
-----------
2y=20
y=10
x=30
2. 6J+1W=135
4J+2W=110
solve by elimination
J=$20 W=15
3. 315+4x=25x
315=21x
15=x
