If you are under court order then you have to obey the court order until the court changes it.

If the court changed an existing order, the court should notify the other party. If you notify the other party (accurately), then that wouldn't be violating the order.

It really depends - sometimes you can notify said person 60 days before a change, in writing, certified letter is the best, and you will be o.k. Look over your court order it should say something to that affect in there or call your attorney for more details.
