Wearing hats too often is the first sign that you are going to have a higher risk of losing hair faster than others.
But typically thinning of the hair is the first sign of going bald.
I say, just shave it... a bald man can be a sexy man.

Male pattern baldness is caused by a tin deficiency, no lie. Keep you tin intake up and you won't have any problems with balding.
Also, gray hair is caused by a copper deficiency.

If your mothers' father is balding....there is a genetic link to you possibly winding up the same way. I have found that if I keep my hair short, it doesn't seem to fall out as much...good luck.

It's not a dumb quesiton. The areas that start to thin and recede usually start itching first as the hair folicles are under attack from the DHT (dihydrotestosteron).
