Isn't your dog cute enough as it is?
Maybe a cute bow would be more suitable for a dog.

I've never heard of "special stuff" so I don't even know what that is. When I was little, I painted my dog's nails with my own regular nail polish with no problems. However I would never do that to any pet now.

You can paint it with regular nail polish. You should go for it!
And maceywalek if it burns your dog's nails, why would the pet store do that?! If it did burn the dogs nails the store or nail polish company could be sued!
Go ahead, go crazy with the nail polish! Don't forget to add bows!

My wife paints our dog's nails all the time with regular polish (and I wish she would quit doing it -- although there's nothing wrong with using polish on a dog - I just think it's weird to paint a dog's nails).

You can just use regular nail polish. My one friend did it to her dog for halloween. The dog looked really cute! You just need to make sure that the dog can't like its toenails!

My mom tried it on my dog once and she just licked it all off! if your dog likes it on her then that regular nail polish should be just fine

I used regular polish on my Yorkie all the time. And there are red scratches all over the white bathroom door to show for it. Although regular is fine, OPI also makes a "Pawlish" especially for dogs.

Don't do that to your pet. It is not pampering, the dog would hate it. Pets should NEVER have their hair dyed or their nails painted. Your pet can't tell you if they like it or not, so don't force it on them!

Normal is okay as long as she doesn't lick it off... lol, i just have to tell a story...
My aunt had a dog that loved getting his nails painted, he would sit there and stare at his nails (which were painted bright red) until they were dry, and he would just randomly stop walking and look at his nails.

yes, you can use regular nail polish. i think pet stores carry doggy nail polish though just to be pet-safe. unless your dog is a chewer i would just use the reg nail polish. i like orange dog nails theyre pretty sweet.
