Actually, we dont know what 42 is the answer to. By the time we got that answer, we had long since forgotten the question. 42 could be the answer to anything. It's a trick question most people fall for. If you say it's 42, you've been punked like David W was. Reread Hitchhiker's Guide. You missed something. C.

I think the answer to life, the universe and everything else you inquired would depend on appropriate time, that is, you need to wait till one day you can find its solution/answer. One of the reasons is that the problems related to life, the universe and everything else are ultimately complex and, I believe, some simply cannot be solved by equations or scientific means, rather we might need some miracles in the name of natural phenomena itself or inimaginable ways of doing things like our wise sages did.
