I try not to give advice unless it's asked for....but with my kids it's a different story!

For some reason I love to give advice. People say that I help others with their problems just to avoid my own. I tend to think that they are right most of the time. It also depends on whose asking for the advice.

funny, was just having this conversation. When I was younger would go wading in with advice, now i've learnt is best to listen and support, and not give advice unless asked and you're confident about what you're talking about, and that they wish to hear it. Took years to learn though!

I give advice when i think it could be beneficial to the person! But if i can't help.... i keep mah mouth closed!
