In school, I get straight A's on almost everything I do, and I excel at everything I try.
Even though I sound like the perfect student:
- I goof off in class
- I don't study
- I put little effort into my work
- I procrastinate a lot

Other students squeeze their brains out and work their fingers to bone just to get by.
They can work on a project for a week and receive a B+, and I'll do the project the day before it's due and get an A.

My friends/peers get mad at me because they have to put so much more effort than me in order to get the same grades I receive.
Does this make me a bad person?

NOT AT ALL!
Good for you, that you're gifted and school comes easy to you. I get good grades but I procrastinate. It's a flaw of mine, but we're all flawed. I'm sure people less skilled at school than you are better than you at other things.
They shouldn't be mad at you, you're not hurting them.

It doesn't make you a bad person, but it seems like you might be a lazy person. It sounds like you have a natural ability for academics, maybe you should try working a little harder to REALLY get ahead. Leave your peers in the dust, go compete with the next grade level up and see how well you do there.

If you "goof off" in class, you might be hindering kids that need to work a little harder.

You know you are not a bad person. What you are, though, is very blessed. God has given you a high intelligence quotient and, perhaps, a photographic memory. Your friends are likely wishing they were like you. What you should be doing with this gift is studying harder, working more, and taking advantage of your "gift." Aim for the best college you can get into and set high goals for yourself for your life. The world needs more smart people to educate themselves to their fullest extent. Also, go rent the movie with Matt Damon: GOOD WILL HUNTING. See if you recognize yourself. Take the message.

No it doesn't make you a bad person. Instead of goofing off why don't you tutor others or read a book while waiting for the show to get on the road. You could also think of pannendromes to occupy your time so you don't distract others. If you goof off the teacher won't like you.

No, I was the same way in high school. But in college it caught up with me and I hadn't developed good study habits so now I only have a 3.0.

So just make sure you CAN do your work and not procrastinate for when it gets harder

Im sort of like that, im not straight As but i get relatively good grades when i do all of the things you mention. Im afraid some people just have a natural knack and some dont. Tell your friends, its not your fault! And offer to help them with their stuff if they want (help not do for them). I know your in a difficult situation with your peers, kids can be cruel, thats for sure. good luck, im rooting for you!

Your talents do not make you a bad person, however your attitude toward work will hurt you latter in life. Most employers don't care how well you did in school all they care about is drive and determination, it sounds to me you have this in short supply

Np it does not make you a bad person. Schoolwork comes easier to you than your friends who have to work just a little harder to get the grades that you do.

No Way!!! You arent a bad person just because you excel in school!! everyone has different talents and areas that they do well in and yours is at school! Your friends probably just don't see that yet.

No, you are not a bad person. The work is too easy for you. You need to take more challenging classes. The day will come when your bad habits will catch up with you.
