Also, should I make Andy Pettitte a SP and Adam Wainwright an RP?

Well, Jorge Posada is ONE of the best catchers in baseball, not the BEST.
David Ortiz is the best clutch hitter earning his nickname "Mr. Clutch". He can provenly hit over 50 HR's in a season, which will totally help me.
Aramis Ramirez is one of the best defensive 3B's out there.
Manny Ramirez is a good hitter and outfielder.
Gary Sheffield is an awesome outfielder and an even better power hitter. Expecting 30 + Hr's this year.
D-Mat and D-Train? Don't even start about how good they will be.
Andy Pettitte will do okay probably, and Adam Wainwright will excel at Closer.

I think that you have to many Ramirez's in the middle of your lineup

A 5 - decidedly average. Offense is pretty good. Ramirez being a top defensive 3B has nothing to do with Fantasy Baseball. Your pitching is weak - unproven, bad, hopefully optomistic in some cases. One closer will kill you. Mike Gonzalez is a setup guy. If you drafted him as a closer - big mistake. In the private leagues I play in you would be middle of the pack, although your power & SB's is overall pretty good. What it comes down to, is if all of your pitchers max out, you are an 8.5-9.0. Otherwise, your offense will struggle to make up for your pitching weaknesses.

You cannot ask a question like you did and not like what you hear. Your team is not as good as you think. Sorry. But You don't know how Matsuzaka will even be, so you can't say anything about him.
Patterson - one decent year. That is it. Look at his last 4 years. He is a gamble.
Aramis - Not even close to a great defensive player. He is below average at third. That is why Pittsburgh gave up on him. And he is lazy.
Sheffield - Moved to a big park. His power numbers will be down based on that and age.
In you pitching, Willis is your ace, and he is not great.
You will have a long year, and probably stop playing by June. The team is that bad.

Its about a 7. Youroffense is pretty well balanced, most of your starting pitchers are either unproven or coming off of bad years or are getting old. Thats the main reason i rate ur team so low, but dont get me wrong, with a little luck u could be good, but thats hoping for alot. Matuska?ou dont know what he would do this season.

You're expecting too much out of Sheffield at this stage in his career as well as contributions in the wrong category (saves instead of wins) from Wainwright.
I give it a 6, but your starting pitching could surprise and raise the rating to an 8. Your lack of closers, as well as your stable of OF, prevent a higher rating than that.

pitching is suspect...non-proven pitching and pitchers coming back from awful years. Your hitting is ok at best. Just like all teams in spring training....they all think they have a shot at winning the World Series....you think your team will run away with your league. Your team is MEDIOCRE at best and won't win the league...sorry, pal!

i would call you team in general a 7.5-8.5. howver, without knowing your league and how the other players are placed regarding teams, icant really say how well you would do in a league, thus making my rating of your teaming worhtless.
