I have my period and obviously I have the whole 9 yards with it including BLOATING! It would not be a problem and I would just slip on sweats and go off to school if tomorrow was a normal day but tomorrow is not a normal day and I have a business breakfast to go to. I have to dress professionally and I have my clothes all picked out everything is matched, ironed, dry cleaned. The pants obviously I would have to spend about 10 minutes laying on the bed getting them zipped if I'm still bloated like this tomorrow. How can I make the bloating go down?

My doctor suggested taking anti-inflammatories BEFORE menstrual symptoms started. I tried it with ibuprofen and it seems to work miracles!

You can also take the pill and use it to just not have periods anymore, or have them more infrequently. The pill also tends to make menstrual symptoms decrease gradually while you're on it.

Oh, and try Gas-X or another simethicone pill for bloating!

Lay off the salty foods, including processed foods, and drink lots and lots of water. And exercise!
