Channels which are used by multiple users have low sound, while channels which as less customers the sound is high, putting it in simpler terms.

Different channels have different signal sources, so they have different sound types. Also, different color, brightness etc.
Some TVs I know have personal preference settings, where you can set different settings for different channles (volume, brightness, color). This is a pain again, since you hear a bit louder in the morning (with all surrounding noises), compared to that of night. So, at night whatever preference you had in the morning will be louder.

Because the sound depends on what the TV station is sending it out at. Also, some ads and programs are recorded differently then others... just depends on how far from the mic someone is I guess.

The same goes for when the advertisements come on, they always seem to be a lot louder.
I guess that's why we have remote controls with a mute button.

probably because the original source is different. The signal strength also. it depends on how strong it is.
