first of all, he was quite gifted as an orator. he became a leader of Nazi Germany by his power of persuasion, and what is very strange to me that is how he could stay alive after so many attacks. It could sound cynic but maybe any power kept this person to give us a lesson. That no one should follow such violent and horrible idea. because in fact Nazis got stronger cuz their diplomacy made em sure at first that none of their rivals (Russia in 1939 neither Britain or USA) would get in their affairs... a point to think about: what most of Europeans think is horrible is that USA now "mix up" in different countries' affairs. but honestly I think it is a warranty of stability and peace if one can stop a progression of violent powers no matter where it happens.

Main reason for keeping power is because people were afraid of him, even the US didnt wanna get involved because they were afraid of his strength.
