Please don't merely name the the brand. That's a waste of your time and mine. Give me reasons. Is there one that's best for sports? One that's best for action games? One that's best for games requiring intellectual skill? Are the controls on one better? Is one more durable?

i vote ps2 with best sports games and racing games because they have the ea sports games the nintendo ds has the one thats best for intellect becuase they have brain age and one more (iforgot) XBOX 360 (my personal favoite) has the best action games shooting games hands down no doubt because its got gears of war halo halo 2 crackdown (halo 3 halo wars hopefully comming out soon) lost planet call of duty 3 and more and i would say xbox 360 has the most controller buttons. The wii mmmmmmmm i would say that matches ps2 for sports and its really interactive and thats about it ^^

The PS2 is best for sports games. The Nintendo DS has the simplest controls, has 2 games for requiring skills, and has the best action games like Mario and Final fantasy III. For durability, get the old DS, not the DS Lite.
