Besides the box, just some crushed flake food to feed them. Of course, it's best if you have another tank just for the babies to grow up in, they do grow much faster that way.

my platy had babies and at 1st i kept them in the breeder net in the tank with all my other fish. I got them fry food to feed them, but they take crushed flake now too, they wernt to happy to have it when they were really young tho i must say. If you get fry food for them, its high in protein, which, if the other fish eat it makes them produce more mess then usual, so its better to keep them in a tank on there own. that way the feed of the gravel too and grow alot quicker. good luck

I agree with the other post, and if you don't have a seperate tank for them, make sure they have plenty of thick cover in your tank so they have lots of spots to hide from the bigger fish.
