Okay, ever since the closing of WCW, "Hulkster" Terry Bollea has been spouting off about starting his own promotion to combat with McMahon's WWE. First he claimed he and Turner were in talks with one another, but it's been nearly eight years since he's made this claim, does this mean he's losing credibility with this claim?

Before you answer, on Bubba the Love Sponge a few months ago he claimed he was still in the works of forming his own promotion, and claimed he could draw such names as; Paul "Big Show" Wight, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean "Syxx/6/X-Pac" Waltman.

Flash forward to this month.
Fact: WSX is on the rocks, not entirely out of business, but off of Mtv as of last night.

Fact: Paul Wights WWE contract expired on the 13th and it's been reported that he has no intention of re-signing with the multi million dollar company.

Do these facts give any credibility to Hogan's claims? If so, how would you feel about Hulkster opening his own promotion? Discuss

I give Hogan a year maybe 2 before he realizes a lot of those guys are past there prime and nobody will care about his show. He burned a lot of bridges with the WWE and WWE fans by not being loyal to the company

Hogan is living in fantasy land, it is just another attempt to try to get Vinnie Mac to employ him again and give him $5 million a year.

I like Hogan but sometimes I wonder if he is playing with the full stack

I would REALLY like to see this happen, but if he does, I'd like for him to merge with TNA's talent so they can pool their resources against WWE. Lately WWE's really ticked me off with its politics and sad storylines, so the world needs some new blood to back it up. With talent like Angle, Jarret, Christian & the Dudleys in TNA, if Hogan brought over Wight, Waltman, Nash and Hall, things would really get interesting. Nash is too beat up to wrestle anymore though, and Hall is notorious for his drug problems.

It sure beats playing in HHH's playground of politics.

The real key though is to compete with WWE's flash-style camera effects. Their Audio-Visual team has always been top-notch.

I seriously doubt Hogan was ever serious about that. Think about it. Since WCW ended, Hogan has done many matches for WWE.
