So who is the true best pure wrestler ever to grace the squared Circle. I would have to pick Brett hart. I think hes more tough and even though they both are equal on there wrestling abilitys I give they edge to brett because he is more tough and MORE CREATIVE. In his prime he had about 500 different ways to slap that sharp shooter on you.

I can only recall two Pure wreslters in the ring. Brett hart and Kurt angle. Brett hart was the better of the two. Angle v Hitman would have been a great match. For those of you who do not know. Brett hart did not witn the olympics, however he was REAL wreslting machine.

That is a great fantasy match. I think that Bret Hart is a slightly better wrestler than Angle, but not by much. That would have been great to see.

Kurt is a better amatuer but you would be hard pressed to find a better pro than Brett. He knows the counter to every hold and can chain wrestle to an extent that nobody could/can/will touch. He is a pro wrestling prodigy.

hard to say considered that angle has soo many ways to apply a ankle lock in. bret hart would win in any other match against angle except maybe a submission match because angle has more submission ability
