Don't tell her directly. She sounds like she could potentially be a really bad influence, and kudos to you for trying to get away from her before she influences your behavior.

Just avoid her, decline opportunities to hang out with her, and hang out with other friends. She'll get the hint and if she decides to confront you about why you're avoiding her, then be honest and tell her that you don't like her habits.

well first of all if you have told her you dont apreciate what she does and she wont stop and she uses the excuse you dont know what your talking about or you have no reason to tell me what to do and stuff then its time to stop but if not first maybe instead of stop being her friend cause of her mistakes try and help her change because you never know what kind of friend you could be losing if you give up the chance before you even try

if you have tried then just tell her if you dont wanna stop then our friendship is over or say when your ready to be smart and take care of your body the way it should be taken care of come back until then were done k? good luck

Just tell her that you 2 are from the different planet. Not only you dont like the thing she do but you felt hurt and sad by seeing her do that (I actually do those things myself though). Anyways, back to business.... Tell her the only way you can not be hurt is to leave her and not seeing her.

3 outcome:
1) she doesnt really care about you and keep going, then in that case she would avoid you too.
2) she will be touched and change for you.
3) she will try to comfort you but still doing this behind you back later. In this case, you will just have to leave her for sick (if you cant accpet her that way)

Just tell her. Tell her she's a bad influence and you DONT want to end up like her so you dont want to be her friend. Dont be scared..just tell her to her face. OR you could call her. But u shouldnt hang out with a person like that. It rubs off on you

All you need to do is distance yourself from her. Get involved with new people and new things that she doesn't enjoy or want to do. Be friendly and polite when she calls, but be "conveniently" busy or otherwise engaged. As the old cowboys used to do, rid off into the sunset.

It is not so much telling her to her face, you shouldn't have to unless she confronts you then you won't have a choice but my best advice is that you just stop talking to her all together. She'll eventually get the hint at least I would hope she will.

Call her on the phone, tell her that you do need to end the friendship as you do not approve of the things she is doing and that your parents raised you better than that.

the best thing to do is to tell her to her face, but another effective thing to do is write her a letter.

(you're doing the right thing)
