They only do that so they will make money and you won't realze exactly how long you have been waiting unitl after you pay for everything. And I guess it passes time if you don't look at a clock often. Time passes more slowly- to me- if I am watching a clock. Good question! I never noticed that. ♥The American Idiot♥ ~Luv Megan~

They are hoping that without a clock you aren't smart enough to know they have rudely kept you waiting too long. Like we don't all have cellphones or watches anyway.
If a doctor routinely keeps me waiting longer than 20 minutes I get a new one.

It would take twice as long if you kept looking at the clock.
& yes there is nothing worse waiting & waiting & waiting especially when you had an appointment, thats why I hate the drs they are always an hour late for you

Did you know this fun little fact?....Las Vegas Casino gambling floors contain no clocks for the public to see. Keeps them playing longer cause they aren't watching the time. Moral of the story...If you ever go to Las Vegas, wear a watch. lol

So what. Most of us have watches or cell phones anyway. If you want to go where ther are no clocks...go to Las Vegas. You'll be hard pressed to find even one.

lol my friend and i were talking about this yesterday! both of our doctor and dentist offices do not have clocks! but it's funny how the gynecologist does..lol. weird.
