Has anyone seen "Lavender Castle" and is it any good?

It is a children's series made by Gerry Anderson, with creatures and artwork designed by the fantasy artist Rodney Matthews. Has anyone seen it, and is it worth buying?

It's absolute tripe. i wouldn't want it as a gift
