How do you clear the Search lists on a PC that are not entered by a browser. Like a file search on your PC.?

are you talking about clearing the forms, windows offline files or recently viewed files..

with the forms open the ie explorer click on tools and point it to internet options. then click on content tab, click on "auto complete" there you can clear the forms and/or passwords.

with windows offline files, open windows explorer, click on tools, folder options. then click on offline files tab, from there you can delete windows offline files.

for recently viewed files. right click on "start menu" click on properties, from start menu tab click customize, the press clear list.

you can also delete recently searched file by just typing the first letter of the file you have searched (search engine of your OS) and a drop down menu of all your searches corresponding to that letter will appear, then choose the one you want to clear then press delete.
