Your music should be in MP3 or AAC format, which are both PC compatible. The problem is that your iPod will have to be re formatted to PC format from Mac format. First install iTunes into the PC. Then use a pen drive to transfer your music folders into the PC (or email them to yourself). Once you have done all of the above, then connect your iPod to the PC, iTunes will tell you that the formatting is incorrect and that you will have to reformat. Say Yes to reformat, this will remove everything from your iPod ready to accept new music etc.
Next open up iTunes and add your music via the File Menu, "add folder" option. As you music is already encoded, it shouldn't take too long to complete.

There should be no need to convert the format of your music. The best thing to do would be to copy the music straight over or using a portable hard drive and install iTunes for Windows on your PC. One way to do this would be to go to 'File > Export Library...' and save it to the same portable hard drive or other location as your music. Then, on you PC, click 'File > Import' and double-click on the iTunes Library file. iTunes will import your entire library (make a note of the 'number of items' number on the bottom of iTunes both before and after importing and exporting to make sure the numbers are the same. iTunes will also recognise the music, but your iPod will be re-formatted for Windows, so this process may take a while. Your music, assuming it contains ID3 tags (which it most likely will) will retain all of your ratings, genres, track info, etc, so there is no need to do anything else.

Hope this helps.

An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes account at a time. once you switched from mac to a new iTunes account or a new pc computer. You have to authorize your iPod to it at first, then you can upload photos, music and video from iPod to computer. you can refer to this guide that helped me before for how to transfer files from iPod to computer
