If yur dress is black then paint yur nails black. It will match. Or just paint them yur favorite color, or the one you love to wear a lot. good luck : ] Peace out

French tipped is always the safest to wear. If you are already tan, black or any dark color would look good! Don't do any kind of pastel.

me personally I like the toes to be french manicured or if you have nice and cute feet then paint them clear just looks more classy i think.
