Take a nerf football and cut it down to size. then cut a plug out of the center to put your egg in, trim the excess from the plug and replace it in the hole. Works every time.

I would get a container of the right size (a cardboard container would be best as it will absorb some of the impact), and weight one end, so that this end hits the ground first. The egg should be packed into this with the smaller pointy end facing down (this is its strongest part), then pack quite tightly with some filler (cotton wool, or even straw with plenty under the egg), something that will give a little bit on impact.
As a cheat, you might try dipping the egg in a PVA glue a few times to give it a more resilient outer shell.
Good luck, let me know how you get on.

slap your partners around and tell them to stop being so lazy and help out.

what worked for me was padding around it and having the container be able to crunch some, like a car when it crashes. then work on adding drag (parachute or wing type extensions)... If its only a container you will want a cardboard box, and fill it with tissue paper or something, the important thing is to let the force of the impact be transfered to the container and ground not the egg inside, padding and a semiflexible container should do it.

You ever see the Mars missions landing capsule? You want multiple small parachutes and then a cushioned, round container with your egg in the center. Maybe tissue or toilet paper for the container to give yourself a little extra give, and then rig up a parachute with some light thread and a sheet of plastic.

Try ducking tape all around the egg, then a trash bag around it, then add a parachute. The tape and plastic will give it a little cushion. I did it ince beofre and it worked. It wasn't the most beaustiful thing but the egg didn't break! GOOD LUCK!

make a cone from pasta or just take a cone shaped paper cup and fill it partially with cotton, then put the egg in, and fill the rest with cotton. attach a parachute made a plastic bag or garbage bag. make sure the parachut is stable, so attach it with like four string so it doesn't bunch up. then just drop. good luck and have fun!

yeah sure. I did this many times. So get a coke liter bottle and stuff half of it with cottin balls. Then wrap the egg in bubble wrap real carfully. Then put it in the bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with cottin ball. If you want to you can try this but to tell you. it will work!

Wrap it in styrofaom or somthing, and then make a parachute dealie. The parachute will slow down the egg, and the styrofaom will stop it from breaking.

Get a childs water wing.

Blow it up with as much pressure as you can get in it.

Stuff one end with bubble wrap.

Place the egg in the center

Stuff the other end with bubble wrap

Wrap with Duct tape

well try these ideas first but try doing wrapping it in bubble wrap, cotton then something else, you dont want to have anything hard but you want somethign soft to lighten the impact having something hard will make the impact harder because the egg will hit against it and break
