i was due for a pd on feb 6th, which makes me 8 days late should i test now or should i wait until i reach 2 weeks late?

If you were due on Feb. 6th, then you're already 7 weeks late....take a test.

I would test now!!! I tested 7 days before my period was due and got an accurate positive!
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

I was due the same day as you. I know I tested too early when I did it last week. I think you should get a 2 pack of tests. take one tomorrow morning first trip to the bathroom, then if negative, wait til next week to take the other.

Well i first took my my pregnancy the next day after it was due. and it came out positive. I knew i was pregnant because i never missed a period or had a late period since i was 11 years old. when i saw the (+) sign all i can do was cry I was so mad at my self for getting pregnant. So i say take the now.

I think your math might be a little off, but either way take a test. Late is late.

i would take a test now..if you haven't already, and if it comes back negitive, then wait a week or so and maybe take another one. you won't know anything until you take a test! i hope this helps!

take it now. you can usually take one 4 or 5 days before you miss.
