Go to the site www.zoomshare.com They have already made templates, and it is easy to make your own website. Did that a very long time ago. They are still around.

There are places you can build them online that have easy formats.....
Yahoo has one but also where my husband and I have it... http://www.bravehost.net They have ads but as my husband puts it, "somebody's got to pay for it and it ain't gonna be us". If you want to see how our site looks check it out: http://4einc.info (that's the splash page)
FYI: BountyJack is wrong about myspace.com.... that's not a site hosting place...however you can use it for blogs and meeting friends (that's where I met my husband actually)
