Cablevision provides cable services in many areas across the US. Every local market they serve has different channels available to them depending on local demand. Since we don't know what market you're in, your best bet would be to call Cablevision yourself and find out. If they don't have an ETA on when it is coming, make sure they take down your suggestion of them adding the channel. Get your friends who are Cablevision customers to call, too. The more who request the channel, the better the chance it will get added to your lineup. Be sure to tell them that satellite (both Dish and DirecTV) have Boomerang. They hate to hear people dropping them for satellite ;-)

Do you have digital cable? Cable providers typically have a lot more channels on their digital tiers than analog cable. Perhaps all you need is a box upgrade. Call Cablevision and see!
