If you wear glasses, do your nose pieces ever....?

get really nasty green and black yucky stuff in them? I change mine frequently to avoid that problem.

Yep. They get that way from getting wet. Do you were yours in the shower or run them under the water faucet without drying them good enough? I started keeping mine dry and I haven't had the problem for a few years.
