My favorite place in Boston is the North End (Little Italy). You can walk for a few hours browsing through storefront windows, sampling italian delights. It's very quaint and full of charm, not to mention some really fine cooking. Some of the most historic buildings are located there, including Paul Revere's house and the Old North Church (one if by land, two if by sea). That area should not be missed!!

Granary burial ground...Sam Adams, the Massacre victims, Ben Franklins' parents and many others are buried there. It's interesting.
My favourite street is probably Pinkney St on Beacon Hill. It's two blocks from Beacon but you wouldn't know it, it's so quiet, peaceful, and the old brownstones and mansions are interesting.

Trinity Church and the Copley area- though it's gotten far too filled with tourists and suburanite visitors for my taste nowadays

south end (not to be confused with southie!!)
and north end too for some great food!
