Also, there are special stipulations wherein if he is in a position of authority to you it can be illegal, and if he is over 18, I think there might be some states where extra considerations are taken... it seems i remember there being a 4-year age difference law for people bridging the age of consent and 18 years old.

The legal age of censent varies by region I know in DC it's 16, It's 18 in DE. Look it up on just about any search engine. Or dont let mommy find out.

That depends on your state.
You can date someone at any age, but if your boyfriend is too old, it could be something like corrupting a minor.
In Missouri, statutory rape is someone over 21 with someone under 17, or anyone with someone 14 and under.
17 is often the magic age.

18. once you are 18 your parents have no control over you. once you are 18 you could run away and there is nothing your parents could do, if you were 16 they could call the cops.
