traveller's inn along makati avenue. got to book one unit complete with one bedroom separated with a door from the kitchen and the receiving area for only 1,200 pesos per night. the place is a little bit old and the furnitures including the bed needs to be changed but with that price no other hotel could beat that. a lot of backpacking tourists and provincemates in a large group sharing a unit.

hi, it really depends on your definition of affordable. You can certainly "negotiate" a reasonable price for the use of a vacant condo in the business district of Ortigas across from the Holiday Inn at the City and Land Building. Some are quite affordable, and only an inexpensive taxi ride away from your Makati destination. I would be honored to guide you in your travels. Or look under condos for rent by the week offered by Realtors, or Real Estate Management Companies in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Try the Oxford Suites Hotel on P. Burgos St. at Durban Ave.....It is a very very nice and affordable hotel. It is near a lot of the girlie bars but other than that it is the nicest place in the area you are looking to stay in. Greenbelt Mall is a quick taxi ride away. It is about one mile from the Hotel.

Check out craigslist manila. There are listing of cheap places to stay there. I also suggest that you get a local to help you out with this. Online prices are usually jacked up especially if they know that it's a foreigner who will be staying there. Locals can still haggle the price with the lessors.
Oh yeah, you can also try Frasier's Place which is a fully serviced condotel within the central business district of Makati. Forgot the numbers though but I'm sure you can google it.

Makati Apartelle is the cheapest. Their address is 4411 Montojo St. Makati City.... They don't have a website though... Rooms costs from P700 per day. When I was there in 2002... I stayed there for 1 month and I paid only P12,000.... They give discounts for long stay as well. The room has its won toilet/shower, kitchen (you can cook food), small living room and a small bedroom. These were their numbers but dunno if they've changed already... 8973792 * 8974218 * 8965879 * 8973787 * 8974219 or check the Philippine Yellow Pages.

Surf the internet for Prince Plaza II. Hurry before it's too late for you to get a standard one. I love the place because when I stayed there for a night, it's very secured. You can transact online.
Hope you will enjoy your stay here in the Philippines.
