Never fear!!!

When you get asked for a pin, you type in any four digit pin. Best to use 0000. Then your computer will also ask you for a pin. And you type in the same one, 0000.

This is to ensure that both parties are accepting of the fact that a connection is about to be made.

Usually, the password facility is for mobile phones, and the reason is simply this........if you walk through a club or even through town and do a search on bluetooth you will find lots. And, if you could connect to all these phones without authority you could be sending people anything, so you have to type a pin in, and the other person has to type the same pin in for the connection to be made. This ensures that both parties have agreed to connect.

Anyway, once your phone is connected to your computer, on your phone go to the device (computer) and somewhere in your menu you will have the option CONNECT. And in there somewhere you can change the connection to ALWAYS CONNECT. That way the next time you wont have to put in the pin.

Hope this helps!

Part of the problem is the phone operating in the wrong mode, and the other part is the USB dongle in the computer operating in the wrong mode - and you probably cant change either one.

You need to disable the manufacturer's Bluetooth handler and use the built in Windows Bluetooth handler to talk to the cellphone. When you do so, the Windows Bluetooth handler will as you to assign a 4 digit PIN code for the cellphone to access your computer. This is particularly prevalent with Belkin's Bluetooth handler - it has a lot of features, BUT it only works with the absolutely latest and brand new top end of the line Bluetooth cellphones correctly.

Then when you connect with your phone, you type in the same 4 digit PIN code you just assigned on your computer, and it will make the connection correctly.

ok if its an fairly new telephone you need to have a USB cable which will plub out of your telephone on your computing device. in case you have bluetooth you need to purchase a bluetooth keep on with plug into your computing device and deliver the image out of your telephone to the computing device. yet differently, that's alot extra high priced is going on the "cellular cyber web" and sending the image on your person digital mail. then occurring the computing device and downloading it.

i had the same exact problem with some body else's phone.

we paired, but then their phone asked for a pin.

so what we did was make one.

so any time u pair with anybody/thing you have to enter that pin.

just put "1111" or "0000"

cheers!
