Umm this is kind of embarassing but it happens to all of us girls. But I started my period like 2 years ago and for some reason it just wont start a basis. Like for 2 months it will be at the same time and then it will change again. Its starting to annoy me cause I dont know when to expect it. Is there anything I can do?

One little detail... Im 13. I dont think my mom would like it if I got on birth control lol. I just thought that there would be something natural to help stable it.

Many women are erratic and irregular all of their lives.
So I wouldn't get to excited about it. It is mostly aggravating.

As far as I know there is nothing you can do, you can go to a doctor to have a check maybe, but many women have irregular periods, at least in the first years. You could ask your doctor for some birth control pills, because those stabilize the periods. I for one have never took pills, because they're not good for me, so I can't be sure about that. Always check with your doctor before you take those pills, not just buy any kind, because you don't know what's right for you. Best of luck to you.
Oh, by the way, I had my period for almost 11 years now and it still isn't regular all the time...

Since you are still very young your period is not going to be regular. Sometimes you will get it every 2 weeks. Sometimes it will be every 4 weeks. And on and on. The only way to regulate it so that you don't get it unexpectedly at school or a friends house is to go on the pill. You will know exactly what day you will get it and what day it will end. Talk to your mom, it won't be as embarrasing as you think and more than likely she will take you to the doctor to see what pill will work best for you. Moms understand more than you think. Just talk to her. Does she know you have gotten your period??

Unfortunatley there is nothing natural you can do to regulate your periods, hormones are funny things and when you're a teenager they are all over the place. You can start taking the pill, which are hormones that cause you to have 'fake' periods every 28 days.
If you dont want to go on the pill then stick with it. Write down on a calander when your periods are & over time they should become regular.

The pill can regulate your period ... look into it ... !
Most mothers will totally understand - if the reason is to make you regular. I had a lot of friends who were on birth control pills ( including me ) during high school ... and none of us were sexually active. Some people will say - yeah but it makes it that much easier to have sex ... that's crap ... you have sex when you're ready - not because you're on birth control ... good luck - I say have a talk with her and see what she says - can't hurt ... !

not an embarassing question, it's an all women question bcoz we all have these kinds of questions.
in your first 6months it'll allways be irregular, can be all yor life like me, but the birthcontrole pill helps( helped both my sisters, one was having cramps every period). but don't take them on own risk, see a doctor first, bcoz there is a fariety of pills and not all work the same for all ladies, so see a docter and he/she will advies you which one to take!!
lots af love and succes

its not a problem at all. your periods usually are not ever exact all the time unless you are on birth control. bc is the best way to stabilize it. but it is probably best to wait a few more years before going on the pill, becuz u are still developing.
