When you get your period does it mean you like stop growing? Does it mean that your growth spurt is already over and the most you'll grow is like 2 inches.

Not necessarily. Your growth is based on your genetics. I have one daughter who didn't get her period until she was almost 17. Not only did she grow taller afterward but that is when she really started developing her figure also. My younger daughter started her periods at 12 and still grew a bit after that as well as developing. They got this from both their grandmas but I didn't. I started at 11, quit growing & developing. It just depends on the individual. Of two grandaughters (sisters) one was like her Mom & one like me...go figure.

My sis had her period two years ago..and two years ago she was 5'5(ya ya i kno shes short for a gr.10) now shes 5'7.....she may have grown 2 inches..but u may grow faster then her and grow taller then her. Everyone's body is different..don't worry..being shorts ok. Meening that u have more of an oppertunity to dance with more guys....maybe the guys at ur school are midgets....dang girl ur gonna get all the other girls jealous. Dancin' with all of the guys...yah well best of luck :)

No, you will still grow.
I am a fourth grade teacher and one of my students started her period this year. She has already grown more than two inches and her period will not effect her growing.

Sadly, it is basically true. You will most likely still grow a little bit, but your growing slows is minimal after. That's what happened to me...I'm 19 and only 5'2"
