I am about at the end of my divorce process here in SC. Just received a proposal for settlement but in the last month (or more) she admits to having stayed overnight at a guys house. Can I depose her and use it against her in a countersuit for adultery? We have court (temporary) agreement stating my daughter can not be exposed to any parmour at any time. (and she HAS been around this guy) Thanks in advance for any and all answers. Just not ready to throw in the towel without a fight even though I left the house in the first place.

And gain what? This would have absolutely no impact on your divorce whatsoever right now. It would change nothing so its better to get the divorce over with and move on with your life. Let the past die now and find someone new to grow old with. Revenge serves no purpose except to maybe prolong your divorce and marriage to her. Be the man here and do the right thing. Dont lower yourself to her level and get into a he did,she did kids game.. Move on, youll be a better person for it and feel better. Good luck

I agree with the first guy. What will you gain from it? You are already at the part where your negotiating the settlement. Move on. Get it over. The best thing to do for your self is live your life.

Well your papers are already in the process, if you file for divorce and the lawyer will ask you the reason for this, maybe then you could have use it, but if you only found out not to long ago that can't be use as one of your reason, your lawyer can put it in your papers but the judge will not even bother looking at it,.....sorry love!

I do not want to sound insensitive, but divorce is divorce no matter who did what , so just get it over with so each person
can start to heal.
