I used to be an introvert. I had a side to me, though, that was very extrovert. Everyone can be extrovert. Gaining trust and being nice is the first thing. Casually talking about interesting subjects, especially politics, forces the person to talk. If you show your nice side as you talked, you approached an introvert appropriately. Otherwise, if you be polite and listen to another person talking and show kindness i front of the introvert, they will admire you and you can approach them. The "rude" introverts are the nervous ones that say things they hadn't meant to.

depends on the context. in school, approach like you might wanna be, but donnt overdo it and give the person lots of time to ease in to longer conversations. at work everyone has different levels of toleration for chitchat and interruption. Some are overly sensitive to lots of sounds coming in all at once. you got some good advice from earlier answers, give 'em space. we call shy people inttroverts and sometimes overly sensitive or aloof/rude. lots of times an early introvert just blossoms later. there can be home issues you know nothing about, too. so many introverts try to masquerade as something theyre not that they use up their social skills for the day all at once. this doesnt mean you need to walk on eggshells all the time, just pick up on the persons verbal and physical cues. some of us are real bad at taking a hint too, we just go on blabbing away. the person you know may have lots of ways of interacting with the world and people, and so do you. most of us are a mix ofof intro or extro vert at times, just a matter of balance.
you are thoughtful enuf to care to ask about this so dont worry about it unless you think theyre depressed or in trouble.

i'm an introverted person. Introverts at the instant are not unavoidably self sufficient, yet they're usually shy. An introvert is someone that lives plenty of their existence "on the interior" which ability they think of very plenty approximately issues that are occurring. there's no longer something incorrect with this. it is like quite a few different set of behaviors in that it has execs and cons. the experts are that introverted people usually understand themselves extra clever and are extra in touch with their very own thoughts. this might additionally amplify to a extra clever expertise of others. The down part is that introverted people tend to no longer ordinary techniques to or have an interest in chatting with others. An introverted person might even have self-worth matters. people, adult men and females, like and rejoice with self assurance. So a shy person might get much less admire and interest using this basic determination. rather of thinking of your self as doomed to loneliness, think of of it a discovering undertaking. you will possibly be able to desire to earnings how refer to people extra. How do you are trying this? There are books on the area. "The paintings of Verbal Self protection", or "a thank you to win acquaintances and impact people." you could prepare. it ought to no longer bypass nicely. yet use that introverted concepts of yours to puzzle out the blunders and do extra clever. As you prepare, your self assurance interior the subject will develop. despite in case you fail. it rather is in view which you will see that the mess ups at the instant are not as undesirable as you imagined. you will possibly be able to by no ability thoroughly comfortable with it, yet no person is calling you in my view to be the appropriate extrovert. existence is approximately discovering, so bypass learn some thing which will upload some fee on your existence.

i'm an introvert and sometimes i wish people would talk to me because i don't really know how to talk to others, but i realize that in refusing to fraternize i come off as rude or "to good for you". i'm not. There's just too much of a chance that you are just trying to be rude. So in answer to your question, try gently easing your way into their introverted universe, but don't come off as having an alternate agenda or someone offering pity, and don't crowd their space. good luck!!

I say with caution haha....a reason many people are introverts is because they have or have had issues being social. I say slowly start making conversation eben if that means you doing most of the talking, also ask questions! that way they are sure to talk if you ask them questions but not too many to sound annoying.

Most people get me going with just about anything- just start!
I know, it sucks to put it all on you.
Maybe I'm an extrovert in hiding? LOL
Sometimes, when someone in DOING something interesting, and I'm just around, kind of watching, I or the other person will strike up a convo.

That is a hard one. I know what you are talking about. they tend to basically scared of anyone that approaches and we put a front up to try make us look tough. Its not you but you may be coming on to strong........Also they don't like to get to personal real quick. that is where the rude part comes in. you talking about personal stuff or trying to get information just for the hell of you makes us ask our-self what do you want that for or "oh my god you are so stupid" They are sometimes quick to judge. Sometimes it is just better for them to approach you......so basically "approach when necessary"

just go up and say hi to them, if they are someone you know as an aquaintance they should be pleasantly surprised to have you make a fuss of them, if you have never been introduced, they will be a bit disorientated at first cause this type of thing never happens to them. Give them time to adjust and if you get on ok, and you like them for what ever reason invite them for a drink sometime.

Ask a lot of questions in a friendly way. Don't expect many questions back. But if you can get to their interests, you will be more likely to start a conversation.
