I would recommend a rabbit. Ferrets are incredibly odorous and are difficult to potty train. Rabbits litter train well and are basically friendly if treated well and handled often. From my experience guinea pigs are a bit more timid than rabbits, but can also be litter trained, and can be good with kids. So either one would be pretty good, but I would advise against a ferret. They are also very pricey for what they are.

Well if your kids are young u should get a guieny pig they are small and easier to take care of. I have had ferrets and even though they were desented theystill smelled and u would hae to clean there litter 3 times a day. With rabbits they require a very complex diet and they scratch

Well I am a volunteer at a pet shop and I have a lot of experience in pet care and keeping. I would recommend out of those 3 a rabbit because they are the calmest of all three and often times will just sit there and kick back and they take very well to potty training, plus if you want to just sit there and pet it, you can! It won't take off running. Ferrets stick pretty bad and they don't have those "little" tiny round droppings, they poop like a cat or small dog (not easy to clean up after.) Now with the guiny pig, they are very very skiddish, even if you handle them everyday for hours at a time often times they will not get used to you and they will still run away anytime you put your hand near them so I would advise against them unless you really want one. So after all that I would recommend the rabbit and I would advise against ferrets and guiny pigs.

Ferrets and Guinea pigs are fun but are probably more aggressive. All these pets will need attention, so I would say it is an equal effort to take care of them. Bunnies will probably be more relaxed whereas the other pets may get scared easily and bite for protection. I hope this helps Good luck

I owned all of them growing up, if you want something that will interact with your kids get a ferret they have a slight oder but so does every animal it depends on how you take care of them, and YES you can pottie train a ferret they are very smart animals, but they are very time consuming. guinea pig & a rabbit are more calmer they don't need as much attention as a ferret does they probably are the eastiest to take care of, they can also be pottie trained. It does depend on how old your kids are.

Bunny, mine lives outside in a big cage. Its poop is mulched and used in the garden. I wouldn't get a ferret or guinea pig for kids. Piggies aren't good with young kids in my experience. I never owned a ferret.

not a rabbit because they are so skiddish, I don't know much about ferrets but kids might enjoy chasing a lively ferret around the house, guieny pigs aren't that much fun but easy to take care of. please exclude the rabbit from you list because they are not good with children. good luck on choosing the right one!

It would depend on the age of the child!! remember all animals need, attention, cleaned cages, food everyday, fresh water everyday, vet visits!! If you are looking for something easy to take care of maybe you should rethink getting a pet or maybe start with a goldfish

ferrets r very hyper, they will bite until they are properly trained .rabbits and guinea pigs are very skiddish with people .so i think you should start out with something small and work your way up.
