i just drove past an accident and i noticed that everyone in all the other cars were rubbernecking/ (i dont stare, its rude to the people involved who mightve had a loved on injured and the last thing they need is to be a spectacle....also it causes other accidents) what makes us stare at others when theyre in their worst times? life isnt a reality tv show, people......your thoughts?

What makes them rubberneck on a day-to-day basis? A big set of boobs for most guys. As far as accidents go, they're just curious, some may be looking to see if they can help out. CPR, First Aid, etc.

I agree with you there.But some people rubber neck when driving,because they are watching out for cops.That causes a lot of accidents.I do see where they stop their car get out and go up to the accident.Ever wonder how many people die because the paramedics can't get thru the crowd to them?Good question.

True, but I think deep down it's a fear of our own mortality. We need to look to remind ourselves that life is short and to be grateful that we are still living it.
Cynical answer would be that everyone else is looking for blood and guts all over the place.
