there's this guy i met like 4 days ago, he's going to san diego to visit his friend who's a pro-skater and friends with Bob Burquest, i'm seriouslythinking hard about it.. it sounds fun, but i hardly know him. He seems pretty cool. He's going this weekend. San Diego is 6 hours away from where i live.

That does not sound like a good idea to me, no matter how cool he sounds. You're going to be traveling with a guy you don't know to meet more guys you don't know. If you want to hang ou with him, wait 'til he comes back and be with him in your own town.

If you do make that foolish choice, take some precautions: Give his cell number to your parents or friend you trust. Take down his license plate number. Get the address and phone of where you're going and give it to your parents/friends. If he's unwilling to give you this information, that should be a red flag right there.

This is what I would do. Do not go WITH him. Meet him there at the event and take along with you two or three friends. Make a fun day out of it, but do not go alone! Good luck to you

Honestly...I don't think I would...I have been in that situation before and I know its VERY tempting...I think that I would give it some time and learn more about him....Not saying that he is a bad person or anything....he could be the greatest guy on earth....but you never know these days....I think that I would have to give it some time and get to know him more....if I did go I would bring someone along....

Only if you plan on getting nailed. There is only one reason he is asking you to go, please don't be naive and think that is not the case.

Fact is you know almost nothing about this guy, wait for the next trip and in the mean time get to know whether or not he is safe to be with.

No. Definitely not. You've known him for only a very short time. That's how girls get into trouble: get baited by fun and name dropping from strangers. Say no.

Of course you should go!! Just tell him to give you some gas money, and follow him in your own car with some of your friends. If he won't do that then he probably doesn't really want you to go anyway.

Ehh..I know it sounds like fun, and he probably is a good guy..But, just to be on the safe side..You should probably wait awhile to start traveling with him.
