Wow, you're making quick progress for only being 34.5 wks! I hope that the baby stays in you just a bit longer though, just to give it the best chance of being totally healthy. With my last pregnancy (my 1st), I was dilated at about a 1.5 when I was about 35 wks, by the next appointment I was at a 2, and that's when the dr decided I could be induced the next week. At the hospital I was still at a 2-3, until they started my pitocin, then I got to a 3-4 and stayed there until the dr broke my water. Then it went pretty fast, it was a 5 hr labor total. Looks like you may have another early baby, hopefully not for another couple wks though. Stay off your feet, get plenty of rest! Good luck, hope everything goes well. :)

Everyone is different. I was stuck at 2 cm for 2 weeks. Even after my water broke I stayed at 2 cm for another 20 hours after that even with inducing. It's baby #2 so who knows? You still have a little bit of time for your pregnancy to go full term.

I stayed at 1 cm for 3 weeks, and then progressed slowly... 1/2 cm at a time each week after that... ugh...
I know someone else who was at 3 cm for 5 weeks, and finally made them induce her. An hour later the baby was out. I guess sometimes your body is ready before it realizes it is. And as for contractions... well... I've been having them for 2 weeks... and still nothing...

That is possible. I was at 3cm for over a week. Just watch, with baby #2, when it gets past that 3cm, it might go really fast.
