Okay, it turns out that I have "wet" eczema, but right now I have it on my breasts, and it's just horrible. I was wondering if anyone had any solution to it? I've been putting Lanacane on it (which has been helping other areas of my skin), but it's taking forever for it to heal on my breasts. Anyone have any idea for lotions or creams or ways just to help it out? Thanks.

I've had patches of skin develop eczema, but not on my boobs. Doctors didn't know what caused it. They just says that it's skin becoming hypersensitive to something, but don't know what that something is. My dermatologist said people that have allergies tend to more prone to it. If you have clothing rubbing against it, it'll probably be worse. Check out whether you changed detergent or fragrance or anything you put on recently. That might have been a trigger. If you didn't do any of those things, you could just have one of those unexplained ones like I did. The dermatologist told me that people tend to get it more in the winter.

Anyway, if the area is red, inflamed, scaly, flakey, or itches like there's no tomorrow, hydrocortizone may help you cool it down. Mine got so bad with all the flaking and scratching that it hurt. Pardon me for being gross, but skin would dry up like scales, slough off, it would bleed or plasma would leak out. You can pick up nonprescription hydrocortizone at local drug stores like Walgreens. Once the inflammation is down, you can use a petrojelly product like Eucerin to keep it moisturized and keep the inflammation down. If the area is already red, petrojelly won't help. You have to get rid of the inflammation first. There are stronger variants of hydrocortizone. I have little tubes of hydrocortizone butyrate, but you have to get a prescription from a dermatologist to get those.

Hope you feel better.

Don't irritate the area, like by itching it or using soap on it. I would also recommend going to the doctor and getting a steriodal cream. They are very effective! I usually don't suggest drugs, but in my years of fighting eczema, I haven't found too many things that work very well when I have it severely other than just controlling allergies (food, air, contact allergies). You could also try taking some antihistimine, but the steriodal cream worked way better.

I dont know if this will help but with wearing a bra all of the time, your breasts will sweat/be hot more & will the eczema be more irritated? Maybe by not wearing a bra for a few days?
Good luck...
