I live in a small town (population 35,000) and the kids here sag their jeans, drive around with stereos thumping and bumping and generally act like they are living in a ghetto. I find it funny because I actually did grow up in a ghetto and I think these kids are ridiculous!

For the same reasons the kids in the Ghetto used to comb their hair like Elvis in the 50s and like the Beatles in the 60s. It's just what ever seems hip or the current fad. And ofcourse they do it because it drives the establishment nuts, just like every young generation has done. Don't worry, it'll pass. But it really makes you wonder (and shudder) at what may be next.

That's what is trendy at the moment. Kids rarely think for themselves, they follow the herd. And the herd these days is ghetto.....
