my fiance and i have been together for 6 years and i am 27 weeks pregnant with our 1st baby together. we both have 1 child from previous marriages. anywayz he is the most horny man i have ever met in my life, he used to beg for it day and night and i gave it to him. then i got pregnant and during my 1st trimester i felt horrible told him "no" alot and told him thats all he thought about was having sex. now that i'm further along, i'm the one dreaming about it and actually wanting to have sex and he is not the least bit interested. why is this? did he get tired of being told no and gave up till i have the baby? he doesn't stay out after work and is always home with me so he's not cheating on me, so does he think i'm fat or is he scared of hurting the baby or what? please help.

I had the same problem. My first trimester I was sick and miserable... Then once that was over I was ALWAYS wanting to do it, but he didn't want to. I asked him what the problem was, and he wasn't afraid of hurting the baby or anything, he simply told me he had a lot on his mind, and sex just wasn't one of those things, which I guess I can understand since we are first time parents. Men go through a lot of emotional changes when expecting a baby, also. NOW I'm 34 weeks, EXTREMELY uncomfortable... and sex just isn't what I want right now, so he's got a while to wait until we can do it again! You should remind your husband that there will soon come a day when you can't do it anymore, so he better get it while he can!

If he IS afraid of hurting the baby, or just feels weird about it, suggest other things! Intercourse isn't the only way!

My hubby was the exact same way, but I just had to put aside my pride of "begging" and make the first move. He stopped asking, because i was aways uncomfortable, so i had to start initiating which made me realize how he must feel when i wasn't pregnant and really didn't have a good excuse to say no, besides i wasn't in the mood. I bet, that if you just do something simple like make out he can't push you away, he will realize you are in the "sexmester" as my hubby called it and enjoy it while it lasts. That is all there is to it i bet, don't let yourself worry too much, just ask for what you need from him. Good luck.

you could be right or he may be thinking of how it would effect the baby. Some say that it isn't good to have sex while pregnant. Try talking to him and seeing what it is. Let him know you want it and that your sorry you were miserable before, you just weren't feeling up to it.
If you are having any problems with pregnancy, I would talk to your doctor about the risks.

I had a similar problem. My husband just felt weird about it. He kind of felt as if we were doing it with one of our children watching. And there's always the thought that he's hurting the baby. So, yes, it's normal. And it will get better...eventually:)

Okay!! i think he don't want to have sex with you is that. Maybe he doesn't want to hurt the baby b-CZ he really cares about you and keep the baby and you safe. But when you have the baby he'll act normal i hope. Also congratulation

-first ask him what are his concerns

-get him to check out www.paternityangel.com they show comfortable and safe positions

-then try dressing up maybe a sexy stretchy dress you wore before pregnancy

-make it fun porn, whipped cream etc...

i went through the same thing(I'm 27 weeks too). i don't think my hubby knew what the problem was but he was afraid of certain positions so we don't do them.
