He is a good friend of my boyfriends and we are struggling with the bills right now and I don't know how to go about asking him if he would like to live with us. It would help us and it would help him get out of his parents house. HELP!

This is a really stupid move unless you wish to lose your boyfriend.
Nothing good will come from this, if you need to find another person to share the rent find a girl. Guys are very territorial, and although your boyfriend thinks it's a good idea now that won't be the case later. Two adult males in the same house is just asking for problems.

you should have your boyfriend just casually discuss it with him. ask him if he'd be interested in renting a room as it'd help you out with bills and it'd help him out to get out of his parents house. if the guy is responsible and doesn't hop from job to job then go for it. hopefully he'll be into the idea.

Just come out and ask him, But keep in mind having Friends as roommates doesn't always work out.
