hi, i am 3 days past my due date. just want to know why is it that every time i go pee and when i wipe theres really gooey stuff on the toilet paper.. its clear and mucasy, kinda looks like lubracint. and theres alot of it. i know its not my mucas plug because that came out about a month ago, my first born was 13 days late and i dont remember any of this happening with him. why is this?

it could just mean you are going into labor soon, or your water is leaking slowly.

Think back to a month ago. If you'd had a vaginal exam in the past 3 days before you "lost" that plug, your body replaced it. Your body will continue to replace the plug until you're ready for labor.
This really does sound like the mucus plug. Some women never see it, and for some of us it makes a rather disgusting appearance. Just because you didn't see it with your first doesn't mean you aren't seeing it now. And it's a good thing... it means your body has dilated enough that your cervix can't hold it in anymore. You're opening, and the baby will be here soon!

Your mucus plug can regenerate itself, which it very well could have since it was a month ago that it last came out. Also your regular discharge that you have during pregnancy could be thickening. Even though this didn't happen with the first one, every pregnancy is different. Hopefully you'll be in labor soon, I wouldn't want you to have to be 13 days past due again! Good luck :)

To me it sounds like it might be your "plug" i would call your doctor you might be getting ready to go into labor! Good Luck and enjoy!

it could be more of ur mucos plug, maybe all of it didnt come out when u thought it did. also when ur preg u get alota wierd discharge
