My sister in law is 4 months along and she vomits constantly. Is this a hormonal reaction? Or is this pressure in the middle ear?

it's related to huge hormonal changes in the body, some women don't have it all and others have it the entire nine months of pregnancy. Encourage her to drink lots of water to replace what she is losing.

It may depend on the person. Every pregnant woman goes through pregnacy differently than the other. While your sister-in-law may vomit constantly, someone else may not. Then you have to consider the fact that the baby is constantly growing inside and it takes a toll on how you feel during your pregnancy.

Its a hormonal thing why pregnant ladies feel nauseated, its most common that 'morning' sickness happens up to 12 weeks but occasional it can continue all the way through pregnancy. I hope your sister in law feels better soon

Earlier in pregnancy, it's due to the high levels of hormones. Later, it can also be caused by that big, old baby exerting pressure on the stomach.
