Not Heat !!!
Make sure the Moisture is out, the best way to revive a USB drive is to Cool it in the Fridge for a little bit.

if you mean a usb flash drive ? It should be fine once its dried out completely.
Put it somewhere with the connector facing down so any water can drain . I would leave it at least a week to dry .

there is a software program available on the Internet, could be found on google. this software allows you to recover any of the files which were on your USB dongle, so long as the item has been dried and not overwritten.

USB devices are very robust - there is a good chance it will work - try it ... (unless you tried to dry it in the Microwave :-) :-) )

as long as it is completely dry inside and there is no damage to it, it should work fine when you try to use it.
