Teething can be accompanied by a lot of drooling, mild fevers and nasty diapers. Some say that the diarrhea is due to all of the excess saliva being swallowed, but there is not a known reason as of yet. If the diarrhea is excessive, see your baby's doctor.

I didn't know what a nappy was 'til I looked at the other answers. My children had really bad diapers when they were teething. It seemed to have a lot of acid in it and it smelled like vomit. (I know that's gross, but it's true) I had to be extra careful to change them immediately, because the poopy would literally scald their bottoms. Oh, those were awful days! Now I have 4 month twins, so here I go again!

My son's teething and i cant say he has yucky diapers at all. No different then usual. Maybe your child has the runs? If so, id make sure he doesnt become dehydrated.
