Well it could be as simple as adjusting the buttons on the monitor. Perhaps a cat came into the room and moved them.

But there are also external things that can cause a shift in monitor picture.

Try moving the location of the monitor to see if it changes the picture. Anything with a magnetic field can change the picture of your monitor.

I had a friend years ago moved his computer from a wood table up to a metal desk in his bedroom and the same thing happened. When he moved the monitor back to the wooden desk it was fine. The metal desk was magnatized just enough to effect the monitor.

Same thing can happen with any applience that generates a magnetic field. Like your refridgerator and Clothing washer or Dryer, or even a metal desk or file cabinet

You probably need to physically adjust the settings on your monitor. Press any button on the display unit until you get the monitor menu/settings. Then look for one that shows the display sitting either to the left or to the right. It might also be called "Positioning". Click to enter that one and adjust using another 1-2 buttons on the monitor.

Hope that helps! If you need more help, update your question with a model # and I'm sure someone can look it up for you and give you more help.

You do this with the buttons on the monitor. Be patient if doing this for the first time. All you need to do if you have never tried to adjust the monitors display. There should be a menu button, and then use the + AND - key on the monitor. It could have other types of buttons, but you get the idea.

Just go to the menu, probably under your screen sometimes on the side and click menu and find a screen adjusting button and usually if you click one of the other buttons it will move one way. Ususaly it up and down or left to right and sometimes screens can auto adjust! (If that didn't help then tell me the brand and type of screen of the brand and I will check it out and get back to you!!!

on your actual monitor there should be some buttons or scrolls. If they are scrolls you'll probably want to look for a symbol that looks like two rectangle boxes or something. If it's menu then you can still look for that symbol and just play around with your buttons until you get it right.

you might also have to adjust the height or width of your screen.

Go to that long, blue bar at the top and place the curser right on top of the bar. While holding down the left-click button, you can move your screen anywhere.
