Well it could be as simple as adjusting the buttons on the monitor. Perhaps a cat came into the room and moved them.

But there are also external things that can cause a shift in monitor picture.

Try moving the location of the monitor to see if it changes the picture. Anything with a magnetic field can change the picture of your monitor.

You probably need to physically adjust the settings on your monitor. Press any button on the display unit until you get the monitor menu/settings. Then look for one that shows the display sitting either to the left or to the right. It might also be called "Positioning".
