especialy if ure wearing something plain or something cute
how about wrapping a strand from the pony tail and wrapping it around the hair band in order to give it some personal style and make it look more mature
or else choose some nice accesories

It depends on how long your hair is. It looks better with longer hair. It also looks better if you put it behind your ear. It is kind of a retro style. The tip about wrapping a piece of hair around the tail is good too.
What matters most is that you like it. If others do not, they do not have to wear it. I do not like palazzo pants, hip huggers, or bell-bottoms, but I do not discourage anyone else from wearing them. I will tell a friend though if they are unflattering.

I would NEVER wear my hair like that unless I was dressing up for Halloween 80's style. But honestly, if you like it, who cares! You might get some weird looks though.
