Apparently the Penguins are staying. Guess it wasn't quite as "dead in the water" as it seemed last week.

Anyway, on to the next fire. What will be the next team to threaten...or better yet, just move?

Nashville. They are not getting any corporate support where theyre at, and if they dont win the cup in the next couple years, expect them to leave. Nashville ownership also has ties to the people who own the Kansas City arena, so I wouldnt be surprised if that happen. Last post-season, Nashville actually had to threaten to black out their games on local TV just to get people to show up to their games, that pretty bad.

teams that are in danger in the next 10 years would be the Ducks, Sharks, Coyotes, Bluejackets, Predators, and the Panthers. all these teams are still losing money even with the salary cap. there averaging 14,000 fans a home game and its not making any money. yes some of these teams are playing great hockey this year but in 2 years from now they will have to let go of certain players for CAP room on the teams cause you will players such as Selanne, Pronger and even Niedermayer gone from this team cause of not enough money which they've spent this season and some also could retire in the next 2 years.
does are the teams that are in danger in the next 10 years. its not cause i hate these teams its cause its true there just trying to buy the Stanley cup.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I would have to say either Atlanta or Nashville. If you look at the big deals each team pulled off at the deadline, you can see they brought in older talent to win now. Their fan bases are shrinking, and the only way to rejuvinate the teams would be deep runs into the playoffs. Nashville was on top of the West without Forsberg. Why bring him in? Survey says...fan base. Atlanta was winning their division with a very talented lineup and they still brought in Tkachuk. It shows how desperate each club is. They need to win.

i watched a few minutes of the new jersey game and during intermission they were talking about the most portable team.they said that is was nashville predators.they don't get the support they need and deserve.the new jersey announcer said that kansas city is in the running for a team.i guess that would make them the kansas city predators, how does that sound?

Well I hope nobody...I would like to see some stability. But with 30 teams that is probably not going to happen.

I don't WANT this to happen, but it's likely to be Ottawa or Edmonton moving to the States. We don't need another team and you guys don't need to lose another one. But the reality of the situation is that it is much easier to do Business in the U.S.....

well if the thrashers don't make the playoffs, they will definatly move, they havn't yet made the playoffs and that's just sad. i think the coyotes should move to. arizona isn't much of a hockey state.

It'll come from a non-traditional market, like Carolina for example.

KC wants a team.

Winnipeg used to have one.
